Garland, TEXAS

Jan 11, 2007 - David Ware, 28, speech and drama teacher at Garland Lakeview Centennial High School, was charged with Texas' peeping-tom law with videotaping girls' wrestling matches for his sexual enjoyment.

KWTX reports: Under Texas law, videotaping a person without their consent for sexual arousal is a state jail felony. Ware is on paid leave.

TT - Newspapers seem to be using the angle of teacher challenges law that suggests they are relying on a press release from a lawyer.
