Outrageous Sentencing

July 20, 2006 - Brandy Yates, 30, pleaded no contest to third-degree attempted forcible sexual abuse with a teenage boy. The former junior high school teacher was sentenced to three months of "home confinement." Oh, and a real slap -three whole years of probation, a fine of $1,500 and she was ordered to undergo sex-offender therapy. Finally, Yates must also add her name to Utah's sex-offender registry. Oh, did we say she was female?



Of course, her Utah Sex Offender Registry picture isn't quite so flattering. And clicking on the picture for the large size is scarey.
